Dan Preston has been playing around St. Cloud for three decades in just about every format imaginable: rock bands (notably the Preston & Paulzine Band), duos, and the folky-country-swingy floating duo/trio/quartet called The Acoustic Project. His songbag is bottomless, or at least too capacious to be emptied at a single gig, and you’re as likely to hear “Bicycle Built for Two” or “Sunny Side of the Street” as a Pink Floyd, Nine-Inch Nails, Johnny Cash, or David Bowie number at one of his gigs. Tonight it’s just Dan, his guitar, and his friends Daisy, Floyd, Johnny, Miles, Simon, Garfunkle, Ziggy, and the ever-popular Anonymous. (Ask him what Grandma’s doing in the cellar.)
