On Facebook they call themselves “an indie-folk-bluegrass band outta middle Minnesota,” and as the name hints, this is not your father’s string band. Or even your older sister’s. The ZPSB projects an old-time vibe strained through a post-punk, post-Gen-Z sensibility. Expect fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin–and we think we spotted a cello and a fife in some of their videos.
